Gone... but, not Forgotten
A Memorial & Tribute to our Beloved Friends

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.

You are all dearly missed,
but I wanted you to know that you'll live on forever in my heart.
Rest easy my beloved friends
and we'll all meet again at Rainbow Bridge!

To Kelly

You were an ever faithful friend and companion
Your playful chatter of who did what and where,
of which you NEVER played a part,
will always be remembered deep within my heart.

Sherman

In loving memory:

Dear Sherman,

Your life touched the hearts of so many. The following memory still
astounds me to this very day. When we arrived to visit, you came up to
greet us, then quickly hurried away to the other room. We hadn't seen
you in over two years. We heard you rummaging through something,
later we learned was your toy box. You came rushing back with a toy
which you deliberately dropped at my feet. The impact of this action
left everyone in the room totally speechless. This toy was the same
latex Santa Claus I had given to you two years before, when I sent you
off to live with the Morrell family. How did you know?

Sherm, thank you for being a part of my life even though our time
together was too short. Also, for enriching the lives of so many
others. It makes me proud to have been your "other" Mom!
Rest easy my dear friend.
Love,
Debbie

Dearest Wilbur,
You graced our life with your handsome beauty, gentleness and your incredible sense of humor. You've left behind quite a legacy of furkids.  They have changed the lives of so many.  These include service and therapy dogs, show and obedience champions, hunting and family companions.  So far, none of your kids have inherited your "I think I can fly gene!"  In the words of our dear friend Sandy, "Now he really CAN fly!" Rest easy dear friend.  You will certainly be missed by all who have known you.

With our love,
Debbie and John
